New & used vinyl · Hamburg

The good stuff is in the crates.

B-Side is two rooms of records, one listening station with the good headphones, and a owner who will find you the pressing you didn't know you were looking for. We buy collections, grade honestly, and file everything by feel and then, reluctantly, alphabet.

This week

The record of the week, played loud at five.

Every Friday at five we put one record on the shop system, turn it up properly, and whoever's in the shop stops flipping and listens. It's the closest thing the neighbourhood has to a church service and attendance is growing.

The pick goes on the little easel by the till with a handwritten card saying why. The card is never longer than three sentences. Discipline.

Streaming is for finding it. Vinyl is for keeping it.

Sell to us

Collections bought, respectfully.

Downsizing, inheriting, or admitting the turntable-free flat isn't temporary? Bring the boxes or send photos — we price against actual sold listings, show you the numbers, and pay cash or shop credit at your choice. Credit gets you fifteen percent more, and yes, that's a trap we're proud of.

We've handled estates gently and hangovers gently. Both deserve it.

The regulars

Overheard at the crates

Described a song I heard once in a café in 2011 as 'sad but danceable, maybe French'. He walked to a crate and handed me the record. I still think about it.

Sold them my father's jazz collection. They graded every sleeve in front of me and told me which three were worth real money before I could undersell them.

Friday five o'clock is in my calendar as a meeting. My colleagues think it's therapy. It is.
