The studio floor at Terra

The practice

Ground yourself.

Small classes, warm floorboards, and an hour where your phone learns to wait.

The classes

Three speeds of slow.

Every class is capped at twelve mats. Nobody adjusts you without asking.

Vinyasa

Movement that breathes

Flowing sequences built around breath, not choreography. Strong without being a workout video.

Mornings and lunchtimes — you'll be back at your desk upright.

Yin

The slow hour

Long-held floor postures, blankets, and permission to do absolutely nothing forcefully.

Evenings. Bring the week; leave it on the mat.

Beginners' course

Six weeks from zero

The same twelve people, six Mondays, every fundamental unhurried.

Graduates get their first month of classes half price.

Book

Twelve mats, one of them yours

Classes morning and evening, six days a week. Cancel up to four hours before without losing the class.

What people say on the way out

I came for my back. I stay because it's the only hour nobody can reach me.

The beginners' course assumed nothing and mocked nothing. Six weeks later I touch my toes.

Twelve mats means the teacher actually sees you. Worth every penny of the unlimited.

Good to know

Before your first class.

I'm not flexible — is that a problem?

That's the reason to come, not the barrier. Stiff beginners are our favourite people.

What do I bring?

Yourself and water. Mats, blocks and blankets live here and are cleaned daily.

Can I just watch first?

Better: the first drop-in is half price. Watching yoga is like reading about swimming.

The studio

Up the stairs, shoes off.

Two minutes from the station, above the bakery — follow the calm.
