The after-work studio · open 17–22
Aurora is a training studio built around the only hour most people actually have — the one after work. Three formats, forty-five minutes each, fourteen spots, no mirrors.
Why evenings
The fitness industry decided decades ago that discipline looks like sunrise. We checked our own attendance sheets instead: the classes people actually keep are the ones between five and ten in the evening — after the last meeting, before the couch wins.
So we stopped pretending. Aurora opens when your day ends, programs every class to be done in forty-five minutes, and caps the room at fourteen so the coach knows your name by the second visit.
The formats
Every class is forty-five minutes, coached, and capped at fourteen. Mix them however your week looks.
Kettlebells, sleds and a clock that does the thinking for you. Scaled to whoever walks in — the person next to you might be lifting double or half, and nobody can tell under this lighting.
The 18:00 is the busiest hour of the studio. Book ahead.
Twelve rounds on the heavy bags — footwork, combinations and the specific joy of hitting something after a long day. Wraps provided, gloves to borrow until you inevitably buy your own.
No sparring, no ring, no ego. Just you and the bag settling the day's accounts.
The last class of the night runs at half the lights and half the pace: hips, shoulders, breath. Built for the people who did BURN or BOX earlier — and for anyone whose day was workout enough.
You will hear the same three ambient records every week. This is deliberate.
House rules
You don't need more discipline. You need a class that starts when your day actually ends.

From the floor
I've cancelled every 6 a.m. membership I've ever bought. I haven't missed a Tuesday 18:00 in eight months.
BOX at eight, STILL at nine, home by ten calmer than I've been all day. It's cheaper than therapy and my jab is improving.
No mirrors was the thing that got me through the door. Turns out I train harder when I'm not watching myself do it.
Book
Classes open for booking seven days out and close an hour before start. Waitlists clear more often than you'd think — the couch wins a few every night.
Visitors pick a format, a date and a time here, then leave their details.
The studio
Laugavegur, the basement with the purple glow spilling up the stairs. If the music's on, the door's open.
