A creative workshop — Copenhagen

Made of pixels. Built like machinery.

Anvil is a small crew that builds interactive things with real weight — installations, launch sites, rooms that react. The workshop is behind this door. Scroll; we'll get the lights.

Start a build

The workshop

Small crew. Heavy output.

Four people, one workshop, no account managers. Every project gets the same treatment as the machine on the platform downstairs: stripped to the frame, rebuilt on purpose, and not released until it runs quiet. We take on six builds a year — that's the whole business model.

The founder

A decade on the tools.

Anvil is run by Elias Ward, who spent ten years building interactive rooms for brands that needed queues explained to fire marshals. He started Anvil to do the same work with a smaller crew and a shorter distance between the sketch and the weld.

What we believe

Hardware gets attention. Stories keep it.

A screen on a wall is furniture. A screen with a story pointed at it is a crowd. We plan the narrative before we order a single panel — from the first render to opening night, one crew carries it end to end.

Selected builds

Down the corridor.

Three builds from the last year — each one still running, none of them quietly.
